People in general need to appear to feel someone... Some of them can't stay out of the scenes and require to be always in the focus of attention.
There are a lot of way to reach this goal: casting for reality shows, having a token role, doing something stupid or extremly strange, making funny videos and uploading them on youtube, even disturbing journalists speaking live just to say hallo to their mom!
